Peter was born and grew up in the city of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He served in the worship ministry of Deeper Life Bible Church, Nigeria, a Pentecostal International Christian denomination under Pastor Wiliam F Kumuyi's leadership. At sixteen, he started engaging the craft of songwriting, church leadership and traveling ministry. He'd bring his city together at least once a year for a night of worship, attracting an average of 1,000 people. In 2014, God opened doors for Peter to move to the United States and he adopted San Antonio, Texas, as his home. Peter served at Westover Hills Church in San Antonio, where he interned and earned his bachelor's degree in general ministry and a minor in Biblical preaching from the Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

 

At the end of 2014, God placed an irresistible prompting in his heart to launch a vibrant, multi-ethnic, life-giving, spirit-filled church in San Antonio. In the summer of 2021, during the pandemic, Peter and the Highwaves leadership organized a free night of worship, healing, and revival for San Antonio called Highwaves Surge. Thousands of people showed up to encounter Jesus. A few months later, Highwaves started a prayer room and has grown to over 4500 subscribers on YouTube.

Early 2023 Peter gathered and biuld a launch team of 16 peope to launch Highwaves Church on September 18, 2023. Since then, Highwaves Church has grown into hundreds of people who loves to encounter Jesus together.
